Participation on EOTO teams requires a significant amount of time and financial commitment. Costs to EOTO include uniform purchase, gym rental, league/tournament fees, insurance, and equipment expenses. These costs are unavoidable and are essential to maintaining a high quality youth basketball program.
EOTO is a not-for-profit entity and therefore passes its direct costs along to the teams. The costs for each team are then passed along to each player on a pro rata basis, plus its pro rata share of organizational expenses. While fundraising efforts by team parents and the organization itself, may defray some of these costs, parents can generally expect, at a minimum, to pay between $400-$600. We will do fundraisers in an effort to reduce expenses for parents.
